My name is Courtney Nicole & I am the owner of both That FX Nail Girl & That FX Nail Academy. I qualified in nails back in 2014 and since then I have progressed by opening up my first salon in 2018 and continued to expand on to education and having by releasing my own products. My speciality is acrylics with designs! Acrylic was the first aspect of nails that I qualified in and I fell in love with the whole process of this service from working with coloured acrylics and encapsulating designs and I LOVE filing to get crisp sharp shaping. However as much as I LOVE acrylics my passion also lies within teaching and preparing the next generation with the knowledge and skill to set up their career.

With that being my nail career I am not your average nail tech. I also have insane hobbies and love anything daring and dangerous I am also a professional fire eater/breather and can spin fire props! In 2025 I finally managed to train in hair hanging in Scotland after researching an hunting for years! My current salon/studio is set up as a half dance studio for me to train this on my off time.
